Description

Hetman of Left-Bank Ukraine (1687–1709), who sought to unify Ukrainian lands and maintain autonomy while dependent on Muscovy. Mazepa actively supported culture, financed the construction of more than 20 churches, and was a patron of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.

Mazepa is an image of inner dignity, political foresight, and devotion to culture. He understood the price of independence long before it became a common goal. His path reminds us that national identity is a choice that often comes at a cost, but without which freedom is impossible.

The toy is made using an original technique using a mixture of paper, sawdust, water, buckwheat husks and paste.

Each figure is sculpted by hand, baked at high temperatures, sanded and painted by our craftsmen with acrylic paints by hand, modeled after vintage jewelry. Thanks to this treatment, they are durable and resistant to mechanical damage. We carefully mold the small elements for each figure from cotton wool and decorate them with fabric applications, just like a hundred years ago. They are safe for children and animals, because they do not break. Environmentally friendly and durable.
