Sculptural Figure – Bohdan Khmelnytskyi

Hetman of the Zaporozhian Army, a talented commander and diplomat, carried out a number of victorious national liberation campaigns to achieve Ukrainian statehood. They say that “From Bohdan to Ivan, we did not have a hetman…” – an important man he was!

We were inspired by the hetman’s feat and created the souvenir “Bohdan Khmelnytsky”.

 For those who love military affairs, are natural leaders and live by ideas.

 The toy is made in the author’s technique using a mixture of paper, sawdust, water, buckwheat husks and paste.

Each figure is molded by hand, baked at high temperatures, polished and are hand-painted by our craftsmen with acrylic paints in the style of vintage jewelry. Thanks to this treatment, they are durable and resistant to mechanical damage. We carefully mold the small elements for each figurine from cotton wool and decorate them with fabric applications, just like a hundred years ago. They are safe for children and animals, because they do not break. Environmentally friendly and durable.
