Light Hutsul Sylianka

Krivulka, silyanka – a neck ornament in the form of a ribbon made of beads strung on a thread.
Ukrainians believed that this particular ornament was a talisman and brought happiness, so they wore it every day.
The ornament is geometric, formed from rhombic elements. Researchers interpret this as a symbol of the feminine in nature. The silyanka is decorated with loops at the bottom. It fits incredibly beautifully into images in combination with multi-layered jewelry.

The ornament was developed by our designers based on the motifs of an ancient silyanka from the Museum of Folk Art and Life of the Hutsul Region in Kosiv.
