Handcrafted Sculpture – Defender

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are our seals, noble defenders in the fight for peace and freedom. They save everyone who needs it. The Day of Defenders of Ukraine is celebrated on October 14, on the feast of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos.

Inspired by the valor and heroism of Ukrainian soldiers, we created the “Defender” souvenir.

The toy is made in the author’s technique using a mixture of paper, sawdust, water, buckwheat husks and paste.
Each figure is molded by hand, baked at high temperatures, sanded and painted by our craftsmen with acrylic paints by hand, modeled after vintage jewelry. Thanks to this treatment, they are durable and resistant to mechanical damage. We carefully mold the small elements for each figurine from cotton wool, just like a hundred years ago, and decorate them with fabric appliqués. They are safe for children and animals because they don’t break. Environmentally friendly and durable.
