The son of Volodymyr, the Grand Duke of Kiev (1019–1054), who codified the first Ukrainian code of laws — “Russka Pravda”, founded the Kiev Sophia, libraries and schools.
During his reign, Rus strengthened diplomatic ties with Europe, and Kiev became one of the largest cities on the continent.
This is a ruler who knew how to combine force and intellect, army and word, power and law. He built not only temples, but also a civilized system of justice and education. His legacy teaches us that a successful state is based on culture, knowledge and law.
The toy is made using the author’s technique using a mixture of paper, sawdust, water, buckwheat husks and paste.
Each figure is sculpted by hand, baked at high temperatures, sanded and painted by our craftsmen with acrylic paints by hand, modeled after vintage jewelry. Thanks to this treatment, they are durable and resistant to mechanical damage. Small elements for each figure, like a hundred years ago, we carefully mold from cotton wool and decorate them with fabric applications. Safe for children and animals, because they do not break. Environmentally friendly and durable.
