Sculptural Figure – Volodymyr the Great

The holy prince, Equal-to-the-Apostles, who baptized Rus’ in 988 and laid the foundations of the Christian tradition in our lands.
During his reign, the Kievan state grew stronger, the army and administration were reformed. He was a decisive reformer who was able to change the vector of development of the entire state.

The toy depicts Vladimir in royal attire, with a cross in his hands – a symbol of his main decision and spiritual heritage.

The souvenir is made in the author’s technique using a mixture of paper, sawdust, water, buckwheat husks and paste.

Each figurine is sculpted by hand, baked at high temperatures, polished and painted by our craftsmen with acrylic paints based on vintage jewelry. Thanks to this treatment, they are durable and resistant to mechanical damage. We carefully mold the small elements for each figure from cotton wool, just like a hundred years ago, and decorate them with fabric applications. They are safe for children and animals because they do not break. Environmentally friendly and durable.
