The daughters of Yaroslav the Wise became European princesses who set the tone for all of Europe in everything: from everyday life to secular affairs. Freedom and dignity became the principle of life for them. They had a strong core, changed established orders and laws, ruled states and at the same time remained true Women – freedom-loving and worthy of their roots! We do not enter Europe – we return to it.
Elizaveta Yaroslavna The eldest daughter of Yaroslav the Wise and the wife of the Norwegian King Harald III the Severe. The young Norwegian fell in love with Elizabeth during his first visit to Kyiv. In adolescence, Elizabeth was fond of reading, so Harald dedicated his love poems to her. The beautiful Ellis, educated and strong-willed, became a significant figure in the history of Scandinavia. She gave birth to two wonderful daughters – Maria and Ingigerd, who later became the wife of the King of Denmark.
The toy is made in the author’s technique using a mixture of paper, sawdust, water, buckwheat husks and paste.
Each figure is molded by hand, baked at high temperatures, sanded and painted by our craftsmen with acrylic paints by hand, modeled after vintage jewelry. Thanks to this treatment, they are durable and resistant to mechanical damage. Small elements for each figure, like a hundred years ago, we carefully mold from cotton wool and decorate them with fabric applications. Safe for children and animals, because they do not break. Environmentally friendly and durable.
