The daughters of Yaroslav the Wise became European princesses who set the tone for all of Europe in everything: from everyday life to secular affairs. Freedom and dignity became the principle of life for them. They had a strong core, changed established orders and laws, ruled states and at the same time remained true Women – freedom-loving and worthy of their roots! We do not enter Europe – we return to it.
Anastasia Yaroslavna, the second-oldest daughter of Yaroslav the Wise, married the Hungarian King András I. Having become the Queen of Hungary, she actively influenced her husband’s policy, in particular in matters of preserving Hungary’s independence from the Holy Roman Empire. She also founded Orthodox monasteries in Hungarian lands. After the death of Andrew I in 1060, when the throne passed to his brother Bela I, Anastasia lived in exile in Bavaria. Her daughter Judith was engaged to the son of the German king, who later became King of Hungary.
The toy is made in the author’s technique using a mixture of paper, sawdust, water, buckwheat husks and paste.
Each figurine is sculpted by hand, baked at high temperatures, sanded and painted by our craftsmen with acrylic paints by hand, modeled after vintage jewelry. Thanks to this processing, they are durable and resistant to mechanical damage. Small elements for each figurine, like a hundred years ago, we carefully mold from cotton wool and decorate them with fabric applications. They are safe for children and animals because they do not fight. Environmentally friendly and durable.
