This book was created over a period of 10 years. Its authors are children and teenagers (from 4 to 19 years old) – Russians and Ukrainians, Armenians and Azerbaijanis, Jews and Vietnamese… , classics of the third millennium
The book includes the best works (fairy tales, poems, stories, fantasy…) from 16 previous books of the literary series “The Connection of Times. Fairy Tales of the New Millennium”.
Despite the young age of the authors, many works are distinguished by real depth and wisdom, touching on the issues of being and the meaning of life. Moreover, they do this not in a cunningly instructive form, but easily and beautifully, which only an unspoiled child’s consciousness and a pure view of the world are capable of.
The book consists of two parts: in Russian (480 pages), in Ukrainian (264 pages) and is well illustrated (over 800 graphic drawings and images).
The Russian-language part of the book includes several works in Ukrainian, and the Ukrainian-language part includes works in Russian. This was supposed to promote the upbringing of culture, love for the artistic word, the awakening of creative beginnings and skills of equal mastery of several languages…
The main thing is really good Literature!
It has already been appreciated by readers of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, Kherson, Odessa, Crimea, Washington, Berlin, Munich, Oslo, Los Angeles, Osaka…
In addition to numerous reviews from ordinary readers (aged from 10 to 90), in May 2005 the series was awarded with a thank you, a medal and a diploma of the VII International Festival “World of Books-2005”, and in September 2006 the publication was awarded a diploma of the winner of the “Pearl of Spirituality” competition of the sixth interregional exhibition-fair “Book Salon-2006” in the city of Kherson. Three co-authors were nominated for the National Prize of Ukraine named after T. G. Shevchenko in 2009.
The first edition of this book was published with the funds of
the grant of the President of Ukraine for gifted youth and was donated to orphanages in Ukraine.
Each copy of the book is unique, because the title is printed on the cover with foil of all the colors of the rainbow in random order.
