Coffee-Scented Souvenir – Heart with Red Petrykivka Flowers

An ethnic-style toy created by Ternopil craftsmen. The heart is sewn from natural fabrics, covered with a solution of coffee, cinnamon, and vanillin, the aroma of the toy lasts for about six months. The ethnic paintings are handmade.

Petrykivka painting, or “petrykivka” is a Ukrainian decorative and ornamental folk painting that was formed in the Dnipropetrovsk region in the village of Petrykivka, from where the name of this art form comes from. Household items with patterns in the style of Petrykivka painting have been preserved since the 17th century.
