A toy from the new series “From Roman to Jordan” – “Holy Supper”.
The stars of this collection illustrate winter Ukrainian holidays, sewn from natural fabrics, filled with synthetic winterizer, and hand-painted by Ternopil craftsmen.
On Holy Supper, the owner brought Didukh to the house – a harvest sheaf that had been kept since the summer. And the hostess prepared 12 lean dishes, boiled uzvar, peas, beans, fried cabbage and fish, molded dumplings, cooked mushrooms, stuffed cabbage with millet, flatbreads with poppy seeds and kutya from crushed wheat, and fried donuts. The children helped her with everything. In this rich but mellow dinner, the hostess presented the most important fruits of the field, garden and orchard.
