Coffee-Scented Souvenir “Christmas Star – Holy Family”

Christmas tree decoration from the series “From Roman to Jordan” – “Holy Family”.

The stars of this collection illustrate the winter Ukrainian holidays, sewn from natural fabrics, filled with padding polyester, and hand-painted by Ternopil craftsmen.

Christmas on January 7 “Holy Family”.

According to the Gospel, Jesus’ mother, Mary, and her husband Joseph lived in Nazareth, and came to Bethlehem, fulfilling the order of the ruler Augustus to appear for a census of the entire population. Since so many people gathered for the census, Mary and Joseph could not find a place to spend the night, and therefore they had to seek shelter in a small cave where shepherds hid in bad weather. There Mary gave birth to Jesus, then an angel descended from heaven and told the shepherds that God was born, so they were the first to come to worship the baby.

The 2014 collection of stars “From Roman to Jordan” decorated the Christmas tree, which took first place in the All-Ukrainian Christmas tree decoration competition (Hit Parade of Christmas Trees), which was held within the 15th International Exhibition of Gifts and Decor in Kyiv.
