Sculptural Figure – Princess Anna

The daughters of Yaroslav the Wise became European princesses who set the tone for all of Europe in everything: from everyday life to secular affairs. Freedom and dignity became the principle of life for them. They had a strong core, changed established orders and laws, ruled states and at the same time remained real Women – freedom-loving and worthy of their roots! We do not enter Europe – we return to it.

Anna Yaroslavna – daughter of Yaroslav the Wise and French queen, known in Europe as Anne de Kyiv. She received an excellent education: she could read and write, spoke several languages, understood politics and pranced beautifully on a horse. The fame of her beauty and wisdom reached the French king Henry I. On May 19, 1051, the couple was married in the cathedral of Reims. The daughter of the Kiev prince gave the French 10 kings. She was engaged in education and built churches. Anna Yaroslavna is still revered in France as a decisive, persistent and capable ruler.

The toy is made in the author’s technique using a mixture of paper, sawdust, water, buckwheat husks and paste.

Each figure is sculpted by hand, baked at high temperatures, sanded and painted by our craftsmen with acrylic paints by hand, modeled after vintage jewelry. Thanks to this processing, they are durable and resistant to mechanical damage. Small elements for each figure, like a hundred years ago, we carefully mold from cotton wool and decorate them with fabric applications. Safe for children and animals, because they do not break.
